RHS Rosemoor, Devon, England

今月の中はお休みからイギリスに戻った。家族と友だちと遊びに行った。楽しかった!南西イギリスに有名公園が有る。両親とRosemoorを見に行った。とてもきれいだった!も少し写真はリンクを見てください。

The middle of this month, I went back to England for a holiday to see family and friends there. I had a lovely time! One day, my parents took me to Rosemoor Garden in Devon, I've always wanted to go to one of the RHS gardens. It was so beautiful! Have a look at the link to see some more photos.

Nice flowers! What is RHS ?

Sometime I also wish to explore those places like Devon, Cornwall, York and Whales etc. After living in Japan, I will probably will not be confused with driving on left.

RHS stands for Royal Horticultural Society, it's one of the world's leading horticultural organisations, has 4 special gardens in the UK, and runs things like the Chelsea Flower Show.

Yes, I think you'd like the historical towns and countryside in Britain - did you do much exploring when you lived there? Did you ever visit the north-east of England? The countryside there is wonderful, I recommend it. So do you drive in Japan?

hmmm, have not seen really much. Birmingham, London, Oxford, Liverpool, Stratford-upon-Avon and Dudley (Black Country Museum was really exceptional, time slip as Japanese say). Never been to north-east England - need to travel more.

I am not driving in Japan and car not so useful in Tokyo area. I don’t know any other foreigner who is driving as well, including family people.

Mountaincat: What is 'time slip' in Japanese?

Anonymous: 今度は、ぜひイギリスを見に行って下さい!

time slip is タイムスリップ。Those katakana words are so quick to come into my language even I don't know meaning.

Oh, katakana again, what?! Thanks anyway! I went to Dudley once, so I guess it must mean 'stuck in a time warp' or something!
